It’s Friday, and Jen’s Birthday!

Last night I drove my daughter-in-love, Erin, to the airport to visit our son in Harrisburg for the weekend. This morning I enjoyed spending time with my daughter, Jennifer, for her birthday, then she was off to spend time with her husband. Time goes by fast. Both girls encourage my desire to nurture kids, and hopefully I can encourage them in their gifts, talents, interests and relationships. A mom feels obligated to nurture her kids, even when they’re married.

Today I want to encourage you to spend time with your kids. Get to know them. Encourage their interests, desires, and learning styles. The time you give up doing the dishes or vacuuming is well invested.

“Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it!” What more could a mom ask for then healthy, independent, happy, adult children using their gifts and talents to glorify God. Thank you Lord for Jen (Ben), Ken (Steph), Ky (His future wife) and Kev (Erin). They are all such a blessing to Paul and me.

Enjoy your weekend…

Blessings,

Ms. Sharyl
